If you can handle a graphic, creepy plot, you should definitely pick up this thriller. The police scramble to figure it all out before it’s too late and the town loses another little boy, all while a completely different (and just as interesting) plot is developing side by side. No one thinks it’s related until his mother tells the police that the boy said a monster was whispering outside his window-and the chaos starts all over again.Ĭould he have had an accomplice all these years? Or is this a copycat crime? Is there something important they missed during the investigation? But just when the town has recovered, a little boy goes missing. Thankfully, the head cop at the time caught The Whisper Man and he’s been in jail ever since. Then, he would then keep them alive in his house (in front of his family) for a few months before killing them all the same, unique way. He would follow young boys, befriend them, and whisper at their bedroom windows late at night to come away with him. It follows a town still wary from a serial killer nicknamed The Whisper Man over 20 years later. I want to caution that this plot was HEAVY. Summary: What’s the last book you started and finished the same day?! This was definitely one of those books for me! I saw this all over #bookstagram last year and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! Thankfully, it didn’t disappoint. If you play outside alone, soon you won’t be going home.” “If you leave a door half open, soon you’ll hear the whispers spoken.
